Hey Peeps,
In my last post, I wrote about sharing with you the PennyWise Lifestyle. Many of you have written to me and are curious about my life after I’ve retired from the corporate world. Although I do share liberally on social media pages, these are still limited to my “friends”. It did take me a while to decide to go public. And this decision is really major for me because my readers come from everywhere around the world. This means I no longer limit my private life to my friends only. This also means that I share information that’s really intimate to my family and me publicly.
My purpose to go public is to let you know that it’s possible to attain what you desire and that only you can change the reality that you are living. Many before me have successfully redesigned their lives, but most of them have chosen to enjoy that freedom silently. I want to let you know that you can choose the reality you want to live!
So what did I do in the month of May?
Right after the conclusion of the above PennyWise Workshop, my husband and I spent most of May reviewing the local property market. The best way to research whether a particular market is over or under priced is simply by making personal visits to each and every available unit in the market.
(Some properties we reviewed in May 2016)
Ever since the launch of Airbnb, it has made our work more effective and fun at the same time. On certain occasions, we may opt to stay in a particular property to find out the ebb and flow of the area. Staying at the property enables us to review the pros and cons of the unit, building and the community from the occupier’s perspective. It’s a property review and, at the same time, it is also staycation for us. This is also the time we renew our mind and body.
(A recent Airbnb experience)
Aside from reviewing properties, I host events for my graduates as part of their continuous learning sessions. In May, Elisha Hong, a notable Internet Marketer spoke to our graduates about the tips and tricks to market digital products online.
And finally, when I travel to Singapore for my regular medical review, I would set aside time to meet up with fellow Internet Marketers and friends to discuss possible collaboration avenues. Most of the time, meetings like these are hosted over yummilicious breakfasts or lunches.
So there you go, that’s a snippet of the #PennyWiseLife. I hope this inspires you to set a goal for your own freedom. Feel free to write and let me know how you plan to spend your time when you achieve your freedom.
